The harp is beautiful to look at and to hear. Harp
music is the perfect addition for special occasions because its versatility makes it an ideal choice for both small intimate
gatherings, as well as very large events for which amplification may be desirable. Harp is an ideal choice as a solo
instrument, however harp music is often complimented by flute, violin, cello or other instruments.
Dedra's
repertoire is based on requests received over the years and it includes classical music, popular songs, old standards,
show tunes, and special occasion music, including choices which are pleasing to all ages.
Dedra played nightly for
the Fairmont Hotel in Dallas for eight years. In addition she played regularly for Bent Tree Country Club, Four
Seasons Hotel and Resort, and Lawry's the Prime Rib. In the Piedmont Triad area of North Carolina she frequently
played for High Point Country Club, the International Furniture Mart, and Grandover Resort. In the Kansas City
area she has played the harp for Mission Hills Country Club, the Kansas City Country Club, Kansas City Area Hotels including

venues such as Pilgrim Chapel, Loose Mansion, Powell Gardens, WynBrick Event Center, Loose Park's Rose Garden, Ward-Meade
Park, and numerous Churches and Private Events throughout the Greater Kansas City Area and beyond. Dedra studied
the harp with Houston Symphony harpist, Bea Rose, who also taught harp at the University of Houston and Rice University.
